Cuban Ambassador seeks for Pakistani textile, best Basmati

GUJRANWALA: Cuban Ambassador Zanner Jeweler Cario Glanzalez Liz Cuba has a huge demand for Pakistani textile, basmati rice and especially agro culture products. Cuba is an open market. He further said that 20 million is being exported directly to Cuba from Pakistan. He said that Cuban people are importing Pakistani products from other countries including China.
He expressed these views to Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was chaired by Muhammad Shoaib Butt, President of the Chamber. Senior Vice President Afaq Ayub, Vice President Waqas Afzal, members of the Working Committee, former presidents and a large number of members of the business community were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, President Muhammad Shoaib Butt, while presenting a letter of thanks to the distinguished guests, elaborated on the industrial importance of Gujranwala and said that if we were given a focal person from the embassy who could provide us information about investment, Gujranwala’s business. Communities can invest through accurate information.
He said that Gujranwala Chamber is going to hold “Made in Gujranwala” industrial exhibition in Islamabad in February to promote its products. This will boost trade activities and the business community of both countries can play a role in stabilizing their respective economies through investment.
