Chanel Rose Ambigu and Corail Alternatif Rouge Allure Lacquers comments and swatches

Must read

Chanel Rose Ambigu (84) Rouge Temptation Lacquer (2020) ($40.00 for 0.18 ounces) is a medium-dark pink with a strong, warm undertone and soft luster. The initial texture felt smooth, light and thin, with a lot of creamy slippery-almost like a lip balm-and later developed into a more transfer resistant, slightly sticky texture, no longer emollient Effective or easy to slide. It has opaque pigmentation, spreads evenly and lasts for six and a half hours, and has a moisturizing feel, even though it claims to have a 12-hour wear time.

The formula should have “super thick color, a long-lasting satin gloss with one swipe”, a duration of up to “12 hours”, and a comfort level of up to “8 hours”. Most of the shades I tested have more medium to translucent coverage in one layer, which can be established by applying a second layer.

The initial consistency feels more emollient, like a liquid lip balm, within 30 seconds, it becomes a thicker, thicker, and stickier thing, which helps to better keep the product in place. I also feel that over time, the color looks more even and it is less likely to sit on my lip line, but this may take an hour or more to see.

It feels quite lightweight and has more of the brand’s claimed “satin sheen” after wearing it for an hour or two, and it feels significantly less tacky. There are other formulas on the market that have similar beginnings and ends in terms of feeling (from thinner things to thicker and stickier things), but the stickiness of the Chanel formula wears out faster, ultimately reducing the lifespan significantly.

The color lasts for 5 to 7 hours, and the color is darker, darker, and brighter, and lasts longer than light colors. They do not survive a meal so well, and for things that are sold for 12 hours, I hope they have better survivability. However, they are very comfortable and moisturizing, and after wearing different shades for a few days, they keep my lips in a better condition. They have a floral fragrance, but there is no obvious smell to me.

No, these are completely different from the previous ones Rouge seduction paint formula. The older formula is more like a real liquid lipstick, so it is creamier and thicker, and the formula does not change or set after a minute or so; at most, after a few hours of wear, it will wear out into a more satiny finish To a semi-matte effect (like any gloss lipstick). Although they have the same name, they are actually different types of formulas.

Chanel Corail Alternatif (85) Rouge Allure Lacquer (2020) ($40.00 for 0.18 ounces) is a bright coral red with warm undertones and soft luster. It has a rich color payoff in one stroke, spreads evenly on my lips and does not emphasize my lip line or grab texture. When first used, its consistency is very light, more balm-like, and very thin, but it will dry out, forming a more transfer-resistant surface, slightly sticky but not slippery. It lasted for seven hours and moisturized over time (although the brand claims it can be used for 12 hours!!).
