ColourPop 411 & BB Spice Fresh Kiss Lip Creme comments and swatches

Must read

ColourPop 411 Fresh Kiss Lip Crème ($8.00 for 0.24 ounces) is a light coral color with a mild, warm undertone and cream color. It takes about an hour to wear before it wears to a true “soft matte” surface. The texture is smooth, light and soft, so it is easy to apply, but not as emollient/moisturizing like other liquid formulations.

It is quite tolerant to lip lines and lip lines, which is noteworthy for this type of color. It has translucent, buildable color coverage, which is a bit more than the colors on the market. It stayed for three and a half hours and slightly moisturized over time.

The formula should be a “hybrid” product with “lipstick color and lip balm care” in the “creamy matte effect”. They describe the coverage as “buildable.” They have a flexible toe applicator, the sides are more rounded, and the triangular sides are more slanted (the latter is good for getting clearer color lines).

This product has more translucent to opaque coverage in a one-time product, although it is of course possible to use only one side of the applicator product to achieve a more transparent and buildable coverage if needed.

The consistency is like a mousse, it has a light, velvety smooth feel that can be easily applied on my lips and keep it comfortable to wear. It’s non-sticky, but it’s a bit sticky, not sticky, and I tend to find more velvety, silicone-heavy formulas like this one.

It has a creamier finish and will wear out into a soft matte finish after an hour or two. They are not completely dry, so they are not resistant to transfer or extra long wear. They last four to six hours, and darker, redder shades tend to last the longest and leave light stains. Over time, they will slightly hydrate. There seems to be no fragrance and no taste.

Compared with the brand’s previous Ultra Satin formulations, they are lighter in weight and have less initial “moistness” feeling. The Ultra Satin formula has stronger adhesion and a very long wearing time. Although it is not resistant to transfer at first, it is more resistant to transfer after one or two hours of wearing.
