[unpaid/complimentarytreatment/prioradrelationship] It feels like I haven’t reviewed the treatment for a long time, but I think it’s a game to try Coolsculpt, a frozen fat technology. You may have seen my live Instagram interview with Dr. Tracy Mountford from The Cosmetic Skin Clinic. I was treated here and we were exposed to Coolsculpt there. I need to emphasize that this is not a weight loss treatment, but a very stubborn area that cannot be changed by diet and exercise. I am really a perfect candidate-I am satisfied with my body shape and exercise regularly (walking and yoga), but the contours of the upper arms are inconsistent with the rest of my body. I really worked hard to consolidate them, but so far nothing has helped.
Coolsculpt works by destroying fat cells for a period of time (35 minutes) to freeze them so that they are no longer needed by the body. You will eventually excrete them from the body, but it takes about three months, very slowly. The Coolsculpt machine is an impressive kit-big at the beginning, with various accessories depending on your target area-making a whirring sound, a bit like on an airplane. The noise of the airplane made me drowsy immediately, and this is exactly what happened to Coolsculpt. I dozed off, listening to the podcast, with a buzzing sound in the background.
The clinic is very professional-beautiful, peaceful, clean-friendly (masked) faces and experts ready to answer any questions. Magda gave me CoolSculpt treatment-she is definitely an expert in this area, she has done it many times. One thing I really appreciate is that she is completely outspoken about my results, pain, and expectations. She told me that there will be some very slight skin sagging on the top of my arm because it is already there and the sculpting will not change this. She also told me that some people find it more painful than others-I am very willing to tolerate pain when intense cooling occurs, but in fact, (fortunately for me) it is very gentle. You can feel your flesh cooling-just below-according to your threshold, I think it may be painful, but in fact my arm just feels firm and numb, with slight discomfort. You should finish one arm first and then the other, but I insist on doing both at the same time (about half an hour) just to realize that you have one and then the other because if your forehead or nose is itchy halfway, you absolutely Powerless. Time passed quickly, and after I convinced myself to get rid of the itch, I started listening to my podcast.
The suction cup on the machine you see is like an ominous tentacle, with a suction cup that is applied to your arm after applying some cold gel, that’s it. You just need to lie there. My arm felt soft for a few days, but there were no bruises or obvious signs of what was happening, even though I had been numb for several weeks. It turned out to be wise, you didn’t see anything for a month, and then suddenly, you started to wonder if there was have It is an effect, but not so sure, although the one thing I am sure of is that the texture of my skin has completely changed, and all the uneven skin has completely disappeared instead of being smooth. Six weeks later, I went back to check. At that time, the result was very obvious-the “hanging” had more or less disappeared. After eight weeks, I don’t think I need the second recommended treatment. After twelve weeks, I was sure I didn’t. Magda correctly predicted some skin folds under my armpits, which were not caused by Coolsculpt, but were slightly more obvious because there was no fat there to make it plump.
Coolsculpt left a deep impression on me-it exceeded my expectations, and I have been shirtless for several weeks (if our rotting summer allows it). I mean, I just don’t think about what shirt I put on, which is exactly what I want to achieve. I just feel a little frustrated-even though I don’t want to-this will be my primary consideration when I wear clothes every day. Just to let you know that this is a kind of treatment. I asked if I am going to pay for it, but the clinic said that if I review it afterwards, they will be happy to do so. They are fully prepared and I will review it in any way. Not everyone is suitable for Coolsculpt, but you will be informed of this when you make an appointment at the clinic and pointed out the real achievement-when I talked to Dr. Tracy, she said that she would rather under-promise and over-deliver, which proves the case . I want to reiterate that this is not a weight loss therapy-the melted fat will never come back, but in theory, in extreme cases, you might end up filling the surrounding fat cells. I am not thin (satisfied with my weight and overall shape) and my “new” arms are not thin, but they fit the rest of me perfectly, so they don’t feel a bit weird. If I feel the same again, I will immediately have another treatment (the budget allows it because it is expensive-I explained more why this is the case in my interview with Dr. Tracy).Beauty skin clinic is here.
Finally, I should say that in this type of treatment, experience and professionalism are always given priority over cost. You can use the Bcam (British Academy of Aesthetic Medicine) website here If there are no cosmetic skin clinics in your area (London and Buckinghamshire), please look for referrals.
