Gucci Amy Blush & Love is Better Tulle Sheer Lipstick Review and Swatches

Must read

The texture is light, thin and emollient, enough to glide without pulling, but not too thin to stick, although it is best applied to freshly exfoliated lips. It lasted for three and a half hours and felt slightly moisturized over time.

Formula overview

US$42.00/0.12 ounces. —— $350.00/oz

The formula should be “rich in moisture”, have a “bright luster” and “provide pure color”. The brand went one step further, describing the coverage as “translucent colors with luminous luster.” The shade has translucent to medium coverage and is usually slightly buildable, so it has enough pigment to look like something when applied, but it definitely lets natural lip color through (so if you have more lip colors than mine, your Mileage may vary).

The texture is light, thin but not sticky, and has a light creamy taste; the formula is not as bright as it looks, which is a good thing because it prevents the product from sliding too easily. The most impressive part is that most of the shades apply evenly and do not sink into my lip line initially or over time. The wear time is as expected, but shorter than the more pigmented, low-gloss formula; most shades last three to four hours. The formula feels slightly moisturizing, but not “rich in moisture” as I call it.

They have a mild, sweet floral scent (the brand says “violet floral and soft fruity scent”). I think I can taste this scent occasionally, although compared to Gucci’s, it’s not so obvious and There is an original lipstick series (years ago). I can definitely smell the smell of using this product, so it is stronger than some formulas where the smell is only visible in the packaging/tube.
