Hi guys! Today I want to share my experience of using Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo. Yes, you guessed it! This is from the latest L’Oreal hair care series Dreamlengths. There is no denying that L’Oréal makes some of the best hair care products in the pocket-friendly range.Loreal Dreamlengths repair shampoo review

I often apply hair oil and L’Oreal shampoo has always helped me to remove the sticky residue of hair oil. L’Oreal’s 6 Oil Nourish series is my favorite all the time. I also like their Total Repair 5 series. The newly launched Dreamlengths series is expected to provide repairing effects for hair.

My polluted and fragile hair is desperate for an extra dose of nutrition, so I don’t have time to add Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo to my shopping cart. I have been using it for several months. The bottle you see in the picture will soon run out. Let’s see if Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo can satisfy me.Loreal Dreamlengths repair shampoo review

About Loreal Dreamlengths Repair Shampoo

Loreal Paris Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo re-adjusts the length and helps seal the split ends, giving you the hair length you dream of. Inject a mixture of vegetable keratin and castor oil to repair damaged hair and save your last 3 cm.

1. Make hair longer and stronger

2. No need to cut hair

3. Helps seal bifurcation

Package: This shampoo comes in a vibrant orange plastic bottle. This tall and stylish bottle looks and feels exactly like any other L’Oreal pharmacy series shampoo bottle. The only difference is its color scheme. The bottle is sturdy and closes tightly with a click.

The bottle or cap will not break easily, so there is no chance of product leakage. I bought a medium size; for my travel cosmetic bag, it is a bit bigger. However, a smaller version can also be used. L’Oreal always mentions all information details on the back of the package.

If you are looking for a complete list of ingredients, just look under the barcode label on the back. Overall, this is a good packaging, and L’Oreal got a high five-point free shampoo bottle from me!Loreal Dreamlengths repair shampoo review

Color and consistency: Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo looks translucent white. It has a pearl-like luster, derived from the fine glittery particles present in the shampoo.

I don’t understand why famous brands like L’Oreal, Tresemme or Dabur Vatika like to add glitter to their shampoos. After all, shimmer has nothing to do with cleansing your hair or scalp!

When it comes to consistency, the shampoo is neither too thick nor too runny. Medium texture. If you like to dilute the shampoo with a little water before use, you can do it easily. This shampoo does not require much water to wash off the hair. I don’t like the annoying feeling of slimy residue in the shampoo.

Thankfully, this one didn’t do that. This is a creamy shampoo; not as creamy as Dove shampoo, but you can still feel creamy when applied. This one is aimed at dry and damaged hair tips. Therefore, people with oily hair will not like it too much.

fragrance: This repairing shampoo from L’Oreal blends vanilla and floral scents. This perfume is somewhat similar to Sunsilk’s almond shampoo and Garnier’s now discontinued almond milk shampoo.

I am not a vanilla scented person, I feel like citrus or floral scents when I wash my hair. If you like vanilla cookie perfume, you will like this perfume very much.

Quantity and price: If you buy Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo on MRP, the price of 192.5 ml is 149 rupees. However, you can also get it at a lower price. L’Oréal offers 10-20% discounts for this from time to time. From the price point of view, it is comparable to other shampoos from L’Oreal and several other drugstore shampoos (such as Sunsilk, Tresemme, etc.).

My overall thoughts

Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo attracted my attention because of its claim. This shampoo is expected to provide gentle cleansing for long hair. I am trying to grow my hair. I trim my hair 1-2 times a year to maintain the length.

Hair tips can be affected by daily pollution, pillow friction, and harsh hair cleaners. These days, the ends of my hair have become very dry and damaged. When I found this, I was looking for a gentler hair cleanser.

Although it is a preservative-free product, the presence of sulfates and silicones requires caution. I hope that L’Oréal will provide us with a safe formula.

Let’s talk about the performance of Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo. It can clean the scalp and hair very well. As a silicone product, the formula can smooth the hair to a certain extent.

If you have oily hair, you may not need a separate conditioning product afterwards. Sadly, my hair always craves moisture, so I had to switch to conditioner after that. This shampoo is non-irritating. If you start to use this shampoo every day, you may soon get super dry straws like hair.

I made that mistake once, my hair was terrible. This hair cleanser can remove oil residues from your hair, but you need more products to remove excess oil. This formula reminds me of L’Oreal’s 6 Oil Nourish series shampoo. I found that Loreal Dreamlengths Restoring Shampoo is a basic nourishing shampoo. Long hair or short hair, the performance of this is the same.
