MAC taint fame lipstick ($21.00 for 0.1 oz) is a soft, medium-dark orange with warmer undertones and a semi-matte finish. It is rich in pigments, has a smooth, slightly creamy texture and is lighter in weight, but it feels a bit dense at first. The color spreads evenly and lasts for five hours, and the formula does not feel dry.

MAC lipsticks come in a variety of finishes, and pigmentation and wear often depend on the finish. Transparent finishes like Lustres can only be worn for a few hours and have sheer coverage (by design) and are not drying.

Some original matte shades have harder, drier formulas, while newer ones have a softer silicone feel. The latter are smoother, more comfortable to wear and easier to apply, but most matte shades are very pigmented and long-lasting Dressed, although some are drying.

Amplified and Satin finishes tend to have good pigmentation, slightly creamy to medium creamy consistency, with a little gloss, medium to long-lasting, deeper, richer shades, and longer wear time. Frost and Metallic finishes have the biggest difference between shades, covering from translucent to opaque, average abrasion and non-drying to slightly dry formulations. All MAC lipsticks have a vanilla flavour, but no obvious taste.

MAC bittersweet lipstick ($21.00 for 0.1 oz) is a bright medium red with a strong blue undertone and natural luster. It has an almost opaque color effect and spreads evenly on my lips without accentuating my lip line.

The texture is light and light, not too thin or too thick, so it is very comfortable to wear and apply. It wears well for six hours, leaves stains and feels a little moisturizing over time.
