The Sydney 76ers confirmed the signing of Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav on Monday to participate in the upcoming Women’s Big Boxing League (WBBL).
At only 17 years old, Shafali became the youngest female T20 international player ever in India in 2019. He is considered one of the best batting talents in the world and currently ranks among the best in the ICC female T20I player rankings. On Sunday, when India beat Australia by two wickets, she won her first ODI in half a century.
Shafali is expected to form a deadly combination with Alyssa Healy, Elise Perry and Ash Gardner, ranking first in the 76ers, making the team the most exciting in WBBL history Top four.

“This is a great opportunity for me. My goal is to enjoy myself, make some new friends and have fun,” Verma said in an official communiqué.
“I want to play WBBL and support myself and believe in myself.”
In June of this year, the right-hander became the youngest player to represent India in all three international cricket systems. After that, she made her debut for the Birmingham Phoenix in the 76ers coach Ben Sawyer.
Left-arm orthodox spinner Lada came to the 76ers with her own thriving resume. She is ranked 11th in the ICC Women’s T20I Player Ranking. The 21-year-old Radha is one of the discoverers of the 2018 ICC Women’s World Top 20. He became India’s joint leading ticket collector in the game and was eliminated eight times in five games.
The 76ers will begin their WBBL 07 season in the season opener against the Melbourne Stars at the Brundstone Arena in Hobart on Thursday, October 14.
